On behalf of the OSSANZ Executive committee, we would like to thank you for attending the OSSANZ Conference, held from the 11th – 13th April 2012 at the Darwin Convention Centre, Darwin, NT.
The OSSANZ Conference 2012 was a highly successful one with over 250 surgeons & allied health professionals attending together with exhibitors and sponsors from around Australia, New Zealand, Asia Pacific and the globe.
The scientific program included over 70 presentations exploring not only the basic science of obesity but current trends, approaches and issues facing bariatric surgeons and allied health, poster presentations, hosted educational sessions, additional meetings, the Young Scientific investigator prize (awarded to Geraldine Ooi), The Allied Health Award (awarded to Pennie Taylor) & the poster prize (awarded to John Dixon).
The OSSANZ committee were delighted to host this event in the 'top end' and trust that you enjoyed your experience and the learning and networking opportunities that the Conference provided.
This educational activity has been approved in the College’s CPD Program. Fellows who participate can claim one point per hour (maximum 20 points) in Category 4: Maintenance of Clinical Knowledge and Skills towards 2012 CPD totals.
We would like to thank you again for your contribution to making it such a successful conference.
